Before applying the product, check that the support is clean and free of traces of oil, grease, silicone, contaminating waxes or soil materials. If repair is needed, apply appropriate repair mortars.
Moisten the support to prevent it from drying too quickly, avoiding leaving puddles of water.
Apply with a brush, brush or projection.
Mix 25 kg of the product with 8-10 liters of water using a low speed agitator. Once a homogeneous mixture is obtained, apply the product in 2 layers with an approximate yield of 0.750-1.250 Kg/m2.

Always apply the first layer on a damp substrate and the second must be applied over the first before it has completely set.
In hot periods, it is advisable that once setting has started, the treated wall is sprayed with water to prevent the product from drying out too quickly.
Do not apply at ambient temperatures below 5 ºC or above 35 ºC.

The application of the product by sprinkling or troweling will be carried out when the concrete, which is still fresh and regulated, begins to have resistance to being walked on, but grout can still be removed by troweling. We must sprinkle the product taking care of the continuity and coverage of the application with an approximate consumption of 1.5 to 2.5 Kg/m2.
Water to avoid drying out of the slab and avoid rough troweling. Trowel to obtain a surface film (can be watered for better penetration). You can also sprinkle it on cleaning concrete and on steel reinforcements. This protects and prevents moisture from rising into the foundation slabs. The cleaning concrete will be moistened until saturation, sprinkle FUTUR-HIGROSMART-SILEX on top. The concrete of the foundation slab can be poured later, once the product has hardened and adhered to the cleaning concrete, taking care not to damage the previous application.
The applied product must be protected from moisture, especially rain during the hardening process (10-12 hours).
To clean materials and utensils, use water before the product hardens. Once the product has hardened it can only be removed by mechanical means.
